Yeah rusty, I already have to sit with my legs spread out the larger tank makes it uncomfortable to straddle. The skinnier tank allows better comfort...

Rusty/Sed it 's not the size of the bike it's how you ride it .. remember! Like most on this forum Nobby I am happy with my "mid-sized" beast, although some, even some ladies (no names mentioned) feel the need for something larger. Pride often finds me displaying mine at the first opportunity and I have been known to pull it out in the presence of company just to see their reaction (at which I am rarely disappointed). I can be heard coming from half a kilometer away and the throbbing can be felt throughout the body when I'm close, especially in tight spaces. Like most I find a routine of regular lubrication avoids any frustration at crucial times and a good wipedown with a damp leather chamois afterwards keeps things looking good for the next time. ;D

Mine is on the small size with well worn pistons. However current riding conditions have meant very little (read nil) riding time to the point that my battery is now flat. I have to manually push start while dreaming of a fast bike.

I have to manually push start while dreaming of a fast bike. Hope the "riding conditions" improve soon mate. ;D As you know at your age the more you ride the greater the charge. I've had to manually push start a few times in recent months but poor timing trying to throw the leg over nearly left me flat out in the driveway watching my opportunity to ride disappear past the letterbox...
