The weather ain't looking good at the moment. I will keep an Eye on it over the next few days. I have no problems going either way, but it's up to the rest if they want to or not.

The forecast looks like it is improving a bit. I hope this trend continues.

Ok all it is looking like the ride is a go ahead. Meet point will be at Port Melbourne Bakehouse. 210 Bay street. I think around 8:30 rollout would be a good start time. We will be riding through Belgrave, Emerald on to Garfield where Joffa will be taking over and leading the ride to Yarrum.
Anyone wanting to meet us at Emerald or Belgrave let me know the place to meet.
ETA for Belgrave around 9:30 with a 10 to 15 minute stop
ETA for Emerald around 10:00

Looks like I'm a late withdrawal lads. The new clutch cable is too short and needs to get remade, and my 5c washer in the carby means I have to now wait for a new jet kit to arrive. Kawasaki were going to loan me a Vulcan but they apparently don't have any test rides available in Melbourne. Best they could do was a Versys 1000 but I had to pick it up from Bendigo tomorrow. Fail. Guess Kelly will be happy I'm staying home to give her a break from the kids. Gutted!

Sorry to hear you won't be going King H. Hope you get your bike back on the road soon. Still not sure if my bike will be ready for this ride either.
So who is going? If my bike is not ready I am more than happy to drive down and be a support? vehicle. Also if the weather forecast is for rain, rain and more rain, the motel option sounds good, although I am adventurous and happy to tent it too. Anyway I will know (Hopefully) about my bike tomorrow.
