Well I got a day off, and I'm bored ... So i thought I'd post some pics of Lake Burrendong that we took last weekend. Taken from the wall. There's a road across the wall and it goes a fair way along the lake but it was locked, apparently it's open sometimes but we were there later in the day .. yay another excuse to go for a ride. The road out to the lake isnt bad until bout 4k's or so before the wall where it gets a bit scary for me, tighter bends than I've done before and a nice strip of gravel down the centre of the lane. Obligatory pics of bikes at the Lake .. Terry's And mine Yep you guessed it .. tis the wall The view from the camping area, you have to pay to get in there and the kiosk is in there too, only place for miles to get a drink ... sheesh .. so we walked. It's a nice place tho and would be a great place to spend the weekend.

Yeah Ray the locks are getting there Yep tis a nice place, and I think we'll head there again next weekend to scout out some places to stop for ya know picnic type things. The part we went to was a bit disappointing but tis a big lake should be able to find something without gravel roads And I'll get to practice a few more corners ... wheeeeee edit: hmm let me update that .. Bathurst next weekend, back to the lake some other day
