Greeting to the forum . Getting a lot of 400 .s lately ,just goes to show how good they are. No tools you say ,did you take the left side cover off and have a gander there. Should be there unless somebody hasn,t put it back . Though i see it,s an 09 ,top year that so is my 750 . ;D Must admit i usually just have some spanners and aleen keys in my tool bag . Only need a screwdriver ,star ,flat and a 8 ,10 ,12 mm spanner. Though there is a shocky spanner in there to adjust the settins so that would be advisable to have . Cheers Ray ,Trish Gympie Qld

Hey mate, go to www.cruisercustomizing.com, you can order heaps of stuff for your VT 400. That is where I have gotten any amount of stuff for mine. Search for products for "Honda 750 Shadow Aereo" whatever you find for this bike will fit your VT 400. You will be ordering stuff form the USA but it is quite cheap, just bear in mind that if your order is more than 1,000 dollars you will have to pay taxes, so it is better if you make different orders to avoid taxes. Also, the regular post will take between 2 and 3 weeks, sometimes even less than 2 weeks and for $2 dollars more you can get an insurance in case your order does not arrive.

G'day
Try eBay and getting stuff from the same seller to combine your shipping cost. Cruiser customizing have great stuff at great prices but when it comes to shipping, you'll be paying heaps. Most things I've looked at on there with shipping cost, was actually only a few bucks cheaper and took awhile to arrive to you. If you were to order from a local distributor, they usually get it to you within the week depending on availability. So weigh up your options on where to source your stuff and decide on how quickly you'd want them.
Hope this helps ya.
