Wow! What a day. What a turn up.
I didn't grab any pics, however I know some did as per usual.
Started off at 6.50 meeting, MRC (now renamed Jock - our Supreme Commander!) Aldo, Richo and Ant at goodna maccas. After a coffee and the obligatory smartass comments about Harleys we headed off. Sed in the lead, followed by Aldo and the other 3 about 300metres behind collecting Harley Davidson parts as they fell off. LOL. Nah not quite, we had a smooth run into the tunnels where the temp suddenly got 10 degrees warmer. We of course tested out our exhaust pipes in the enclosed area. Very nice indeed. After the tunnels hopped on the gateway to our next meeting point, where ant had a very close call with a numpty headed cager who cut her off. It's lucky we only had 5kms to go as I'm sure sitting on a bike with that much crap in your undies wouldn't have been comfortable. We reached our meeting point wher Mac and Ace met us briefly afterwards. A quick chat and we headed off to Caboolture.
After a bit 13more bikes arrived, naming everyone would take too long. In total 18 bikes for the day.
I shall let Ray do the report from here as it was his ride. He can also insert pics.
Was a great day, good to welcome Jock and to also say goodbye to Steve.
Thanks for a fantastic day to all that attended. Until next time.
( BTW - MRC doesn't like his new nickname, but I shall call him Jock anyways)

More than WOW ,bloody excellent i say. A day of fun ,sun and some sadness. The sadness being that Steve shan,t be riding that much with us anymore so for that we gave him the lead out today instead of the usual TEC job. Steve mate thanks for that and more importantly what you have done for our QLD club and the site itself over the period of it,s being . Well it started with a beautiful sunrise here in Gympie so pushed off and meet up with Ken, Spinaltap,Caulliflower at our local fueling station . Poor Spinal had a run in with the attendant .GET YOUR BLOODY HELMET OFF MATE ! was the order from the attendant .So spinal gave him the obligutrary salut and said STUFF YA FUEL mate . ;D ;D So we waited till he filled up down the road and pressed onto Nambour to meet up with Chrisso .Luckily no dramas there. Pushed on a little further and Brezzy and Gerty joined us for the ride down to our meeting place of Caboolture with all the crew. Apparently one of us forgot to turn off his indicator for some period of time. WHO ME i said ;D ;D Already was about 10 bikes and riders there so we partook in a coffee and waited for Steve and Happycamper to ride in from Toowwomba. Actually 19 bikes were counted as Daz and good lady was a tad late but was good of them to catch up and say g,day . The std talk was done before we rode out but also getting to know the newbie,s was turning out to mind boggling. Oh so many more names to rememeber. Ace 98,Richo,Happycamer Ant, Jake .Brezzy . Think i got you all ,my apoligies if i didn,t. Poor Brezzy,s rear rack broke apart on her so i had to strap it onto my spare seat to take it home later . Hope you can get it fixed mate . So with Steve in the lead and JOCK(Mrc), T.E.C off we rode to beautifull bribie Island. Got to the sea side of the island and rested for awhile but something was a bit wrong ,Somehow a few where missing . Unfortunately JOCK (Mrc) ;D got that many lights with a couple more they were left behind . Sorry guys i think we had better address this on our next outing . After a fair bit of banter Steve took us on a little more tour DE Brible Island and then off we charged to the RSL for lunch and catch up with the other castaways. Nice place to lounge about food was great but needed more of it as 2 of our members ordered and was forgotten .Am going to address that . After a hearty meal and much good fun and banter we then said our kudos to one and all and especially me old mate Steve . So all in all i think an awesome day was had by one and all .Hope all riders have returned home to their loved one,s safe and sound. Till the next one riders stay safe and upright. Once again i thank and appreciate you all showing up on the day . P.S Pics coming . Cheers Ray

great riding with the big pack today, was a blast for at least 100mtrs anyway lol. Highlights of my day were catching up with old friends and meeting new riders, great bunch this qld lot oh and the other highlight was watching richo letting the cage know he almost took out ant, so as no shadow stands alone i joined in with the twin airhorn blast, to which if i received a pleasant one finger wave that i will cherish always lol. JOCK out (lol) ps SED (new nickname STRAP ahahlol), we actually went over the top of you three when you were going into the clem 7, by my calculations me and ant would have beaten you home. Nethertheless the tunnels you led us through on the way were fantastic, me being last was great, i think i am just starting to hear again properly.

JOCK out (lol) Well its better than Jock itch.. Yeah we didn't quite go the quickest way, I mistakenly took the Nudgee road exit. I should've stayed on the gateway until the airport turn off. It would've been quicker. But the benefit of going through the tunnels again outweighed time loss. Warmth and no head wind plus the sound of our bikes. Oh and harassing a guy in a convertible, by passing him and sitting at a certain rpm that made the exhaust pipes annoyingly loud. But overall it was a great day out. And great to meet so many new members at the same time.
