Well Cray and I have been riding, I've just not posted anything for a while, to tell the truth the weather's been so cruddy that there havent really been any great pics to post. But couple of weekends ago we decided to take a run to Mudgee and check out one of the local wineries for lunch.

Took one of the back roads to get there cause I'm getting sick of the highway between Dubbo and Wellington, I wont do that again, I left my kidneys somewhere on that road and I'm not going back on it to find them!
The Blue Wren Winery, awsome white pebbles in the carpark where Cray had to get me unstuck and park my baby on the grass for me ... (no really they were awsome, I'm sure there's someone out there who doesnt ride a bike who thinks they are a great idea, me they scared the hell outta!!)
The Cafe was a big tin shed, with a few tables scattered around and a lot of heaters, we managed to get a table right next to the wood heater so I was happy. The food was fantastic!!
The view from the outside eating area was fantastic, shame I was too freezing by the time we got there to want to sit outside. There was a bit of a wind and some clouds blowing up by the time we were getting ready to go home.
Gratious bike photo.
We headed into town and the main street of Mudgee is looking spectacular at the moment with these trees flowering all the way along it.
Someone has told me they are some kind of cherry tree they think, I didnt get a great photo of the main street unfortunately but trust me it wasnt for lack of trying, I think Cray was worried I'd get hit by a car if I kept going further into the middle of the road so this is the best shot I got.
You really have to ride that to get the full effect of it!
We rode home a longer way, back to Dunedoo then along the Golden hwy to Dubbo. That road is so much better it's worth it just for the smoothness of the road as well as the view. Yep I made Terry stop again for photos ;D
As we came over the top of a rise you could see for miles, and the patterns of shade and sunlight on the landscape were spectacular.
We ended up stopping for coffee in Dunedoo and stayed too long, once again I've been caught after dark riding with the tinted visor, that had to go up and watching for roos at the side of the road while being bombarded by bugs isnt fun!! But even with such and exciting ending to the day it was a great ride and worth every bug I ate!!
