Hey there, We had a really nice ride last Saturday, and here the report and some pictures taken after a "death threat" from Ray: We met at BP Yatala, David, Mac, Ace, Daniel (a friend from work), Speedy Gonzalez and the Roadrunner (longs story short: two guys from work that thought the intention was to be "real tough macho men" by riding as fast as they could) and me of course. Mac joined us from Yatla to Tamborine (was really great to see you Mac, thanks for your company). We kept riding and stopped in Beaudesert to meet Conrad who was already waiting for us. So, we rode the Mount Lindsay Hwy south and turned on Innisplain Road where we lost Speedy and the Roadrunner since they thought it was a good idea to overtake the ride captain without knowing the ride route. Anyway, we followed the Innisplain road, then the Running Creek Road and crossed the border with NSW to take the Lions Road. The landscape was amazing and the ride was really great, I must say the road is not the best one in terms of condition but it is still a really nice and slow ride that allowed us to admire the awesome natural scenery. We stopped at the Border Ranges National Part lookout: Our ride continued south on the Lions road until we reached a really nice place called Ripples on the Creek where we stopped for a Coffee. After a nice and deserved coffee stop we continues to Kyogle where we said goodbye to Conrad. He rode back to Beaudesert and the group continued to Uki where we had lunch at a nice pub. After lunch we continued to Murrwillumbah and Advancetown, stopping for a picture at the NSW-QLD border. We continued to the M1 and rode back home. It was a long ride, but I think a great ride. Thanks to David, Conrad, Mac, Ace and Daniel for your company and a great ride.
