Hi all, just wanting to know if their are any online, legal guidelines or downloadable rules and regs for customising and physicaly altering motorcycles here in WA. I have only been here a few years and have heard all sorts of 'you can't do this' or 'you'll get pulled for doing that' remarks from well meaning mates when i say i want to build/make my own shit. Any pointers would be great. ;D Thanks......... Tony.....

Can't say for WA but here in NSW the RTA website has downloadable forms which cover all these, so ask at your local equivalent I had to look into these with both my bike and car mods

As long as the mods meet the Australian Design Rules and the WA Vehicle Licensing Regs then you'll be fine. Send me an email at sales at badpennycustoms dot com dot au and I'll flick you a copy.
what mods did you have in mind?

by the way, if the Police take exception to you, your bike, the traffic or their own personal life then the fact your mods meet the ADRs and regs wont make a difference. Just something I try to point out to people.
