Hi all, I thought I would start a new thread on the custom badges as the discussion started elsewhere! Here are a couple of samples that I have made on my CNC machine recently, they are machined from 3mm aluminium plate and attached to the vehicles with auto mounting tape so no holes are needed. Cheers Gwyn

Goodjob mate ,i like . I imagine you can do round plates as well to suit any size circumference ,ie; side cover plate. Cheers Ray

Cheers Ray Cheers guys, my current machine is limited to 350mm x 280mm so a round disc wouldn't be an issue but mounting it on a sideplate might be difficult. The ones on my Shadow ACE are quite convex. Cheers Gwyn

Nice, I like the badges but not for my bike ... I'm always being asked in carparks what size my bike is .. I like to keep em guessing.
Interesting thought about side cover plate thou .. there's a space there that's just begging to be filled up with something eh.

They are a great idea Gwyn, will have to have a look round my bike to see where else would be a good spot.

Hi all, I've been playing with the CNC mill again and made an engraved aluminium number plate surround. There are two pieces of 3mm plate riveted together, one of the plates is recessed so the number plate is totally enclosed. I'm going to make another one and experiment with filling the engraving with gloss black paint and polish up the alloy. Cheers Gwyn

Westozy that is great . Dont take this as a knock though. What iff you replace those rivots with small allen key headed bolts like the larger two. Would jazz it up a bit more ore use a splke bolt or simular bling bolts . Only a thought mate . Love what you have done thogh . Top marks . Probably get a few sales from that . Cheers Ray

Love it Westozy! I looked for ages to find a plate frame that fit and that I liked, in the end the one I have is nice but it only just fits. That looks do right on there. Ray I see what you are saying but I like the rivets, gives it an industrial feel that's kinda cool. I'd like to see it polished up.
