Hey guys so I want to DeSorkel my 05 VT750C but I am a bit of an armature, so I took the front casing off and was confronted with this, so to take the snorkel off I need to take this whole air filter box off of the bike, is this correct?? And also is the snorkel the black tubing on the left??? Not the right?? Cheers guys Attachments:

You will need to remove the whole air box. The snorkel is on the right ( oval shape ) it goes from the back of the airbox up under the tank. once removed the only thing you will have on the right is a hole.

Thanx everyone for the feed back, so I went and had another crack and I think it was a success, but who knows. So I took the air filter off and the tank and have taken the snorkel out, but it has 2 parts so i am just need confirmation that both parts have to be taken off. As this is wat I have done? correct did you fit a K&N air filter as well ?

No KnN filter as yet, still waiting on it, is this bad to do with a stock air filter?

no, just better with the K & N you will notice the difference when you fit one ;D You will need to put a dyno kit in the carby for best results
