Hi everyone,
Are Lindby Crash / Highway bars or similar available in Sydney? for a 2012 VT705C Shadow. I was about to order a set of Lindby crash bars from the USA and wondered if a similar bar was available in Sydney. When I searched the internet I only get Honda dealers and apparently they have no stock.
Regards Steve

I have Paladon crash bars on my VT750C2 and Bearlee's Vt750 Aero. Even with aussie dollar at 90 cents .It is still cheaper to get from USA than deal with local stealers. Try cruisercustomizing.com Delivery may take up to 4 weeks

Thanks Bear & Ray,
The bars from cruisercustomizing.com are $242.99 and from PARTZILLA $224.48 plus delivery (about $50.00) From Zpower Australia $389.95 big price difference. Has anybody used PARTZILLA at all?

That's a good recommendation Bear. The difference in price is only about $20.00

Thanks Ray, I will put an order in next week. BTW, do you know who sell the rear crash bar, I haven't seen them for sale anywhere. I just want to protect my saddle bags etc.

You might look at the Lindby site direct. They may be able to help. Or even shoot an email to Custom Cruising. As they already deal with Lindby they may be able to get them in. So saying I don't recall seeing a rear crash bar to suit our shadows.

Sounds right. It's based on package size and weight.

So saying I don't recall seeing a rear crash bar to suit our shadows. Wrong . Now that i said that i have to back it up . Only problem is i cant find the link . But yes i have seen them . Ok ,will keep looking but Bdrgonza made a good point . Contact Customcruising and ask . They are quite helpfull . Try these blokes . www.motorcycleadventure.com.au/shop/index.php?route=product/category&path=101_136_429 Shows the engine crash bars i,m going to get .Mainly to get around my forward controls . When you order from USA mate it pays to get a few things and brings down the postage a bit . Cheers Ray
