Well its that time of month again where we get together for the monthly meet & bleat. The September Meet & Bleat to be at a different venue than Kings Park, so as to enable a showing of the most famous ( or lack there of ) of our members.. troggy :-) ( the dill lives in west kal, so we have to make the occasional concession for him ). Also as most will be aware George has been injured due to an "off", but he also lives out Guildford/Bayswater way. So I am hoping that if we hold it close to his local we might be able to persuade his wife to drive him in, if he is up for it. The third Sunday this month is the 15th, but due to the lack of notification. I would suggest that we push it back one week to the 22nd at 1230. The venue I am thinking of is a tuck shop opposite Alfreds POSSIBLE SPAM POST - PLEASE REPORT kitchen in Guildford. I will confirm this in a few days. Also I would like to suggest that we take this opportunity to discuss club business, such as some ideas for up & coming rides, etc...
louie.
Details
Date: Sunday, 22nd September Time: 12:30pm Location: Guildford --- to be confirmed Facility: Cafe/kiosk Parking: plenty out front.

Guildford sounds good Louie . There's a few good eateries along the strip near Alfreds ( shame Alfreds wont be open during the day...) but also a couple of good ones near the Rose & Crown Hotel ..not suggesting the pub itself , but theres a couple of good places near it.

It is a shame we can not have a meeting this weekend. With the Rebels in town I am sure we could have a friendly meet at their clubhouse and share a few drinks. They may not even notice a dozen Shadows wandering around.

They may not even notice a dozen Shadows wandering around. We followed them west by a couple of days, trust me a couple of Shadows just pale into insignificance after they've been thru. Lots of locals told us about it, even the wife of one of pro harts friends had a story to tell about how she went up to talk to some of them ... Sweet little 70 to lady surrounded by big rough Rebels ... She said they were nice boys Have a great meet guys

Hey Louie , Not wanting to ( no pun intended here) put a damper on Sundays M&B ..but here's the forecast : Summary Min 13 Max 19 Showers, easing. Morning storm. Perth area Cloudy. Heavy showers developing early in the morning, easing to isolated showers by later in the morning. Isolated thunderstorms early in the morning. Damaging winds possible in the morning. Winds northerly 25 to 35 km/h turning west to northwesterly 35 to 50 km/h early in the morning. Of course , we all know that the Met boys are famous for getting it wrong and WA weather is famous for doing the opposite of what it's expected to do at this time of year..but do you really want to be out riding in that? As you know , I quite enjoy wet weather riding ..but the "damaging winds" tend to make me wonder a bit.... In the words of Leonard Nimoy ...Keep on watching the skies..... I will be. Trog
