Ok I'm looking at a few options for my bike. Wasn't going to and was just going to wait for an upgrade but I think I'm in love and to be honest I couldn't afford an upgrade in the near future (bloody house repayments). Looking at the best but affordable options for the following: Possibly raising my bars a little bit? Making my baby sound a bit louder (not too loud). Saddle bags that aren't a permanent attachment? I have the supports like bit.ly/1glMD73Any thoughts?

Bar risers for the handlebar lift. Don't go overboard and you may not have to replace cables. Some even can bring the bars closer (pullbacks)for a different look. Exhaust modification (baffle removal). Suggest you do this to another set, keeping your originals in-case you have to put back on after meeting a noise hating man in blue. After market pipes also a good choice (Cobra, Vance & Hines) are a couple of makers. I personally went Cobra. hondashadowriders.proboards.com/thread/1983/pipes-vt400I posted vids with original then my new pipes. Those supports are only to keep the bags out of the turning wheels and off the shocks. So any throw over design works well. Lift the back seat when putting on and you get a little more secure fit. Take into acount where your rear indicators are for the fitting.

With Gonzo here mate . Thinking of this myself : www.westendmotorsports.com/aero-handlebarsrisers-c-297_321_1859.htmlAfter market pipes are the go for a new look and more rumble . For mine the Vance & Hindes Cruzers are the best suited to the 750,s. Can get quieter baffles as well. What i did however is kept my oem look of teh pipes and had the pipes done out professionally. A nice rumble and people defintely hear yo coming . They tested at 96 dec. which is about legal . You can bore them out yourself but some vids on this subject left me wondering .So went with a local pipe guru here. The bag issue is a headache but with as the rest ,it,s wwhat you want for your bike . Throwovers are quite good and cheap altenative as long as they are tied down and have a supporting bracket to stop them hitting the wheel. I went with the K-Drive bag click on ,off system and am very happy with that . Can lock them on and take them off anytim when the need arises. You left then with a lovely chrome bracket . There are lots of hard bag alternatives . Can use these brackets and turn your throw overs into a lock on removable as well A few members have these ; www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Motorcycle-Touring-Cruiser-Hard-Saddlebags-Trunk-Lights-Luggage-w-Mounting-/360684849855?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item53fa7e0abfHope this helps Cheers Ray

Don't do a baffle removal it'll fuck up how the bike runs , if you want loud but not too loud go for vance and Heinz cruzers , they are a great system for the bike and 95 decibels so you won't be over the legal limit , new bars are cheaper than new risers and can give you a different look
