What's going on on this forum? One person saying patch wearers are wankers and another taking offence. Not liking the aura it is sending out. When you start giving derogatory names to people on a forum who make suggestions, best you don't comment at all. If you want to comment against, there's no need for name tagging. I'm sure we've all at one time or another, felt like a wanker. If this is were the SRA is heading, I don't want a part of it. There is a saying, 'Good things in, good things out'. We only want good things to come out of SRA. No more name calling even if it wasn't intended to offend, and lets all try not to be precious. To much political correctness in this country already, we don't want it on our forum as well. Shit that was long winded. cheers

But really this thread has answered the original query can it not dissolve any further.

Agree with Puffy, subject closed as far as I am concerned - EXCEPT - over the years I've been called many things, but as long as it is not late for dinner I don't mind. Have to admit, I like the idea of name tags for two reasons - first my memory is pretty ordinary, parrticularly with people I've only recently met but also secondly it allows me to look more closely at bits that otherwise without a name tag pinned to them I'd be accused of being a letch. ;-)
