Hey Greyshadow and Co , Congrats on getting the overnighter up and running . If it wasn't so close to the ride out for the AGM I'm sure George and I would be coming along with you. Enjoy it , stay safe , stay upright and maybe it can be one of many practice runs leading to some or all of you guys joining us on next years AGM run Have a big one . Cheers Trog

Trog, thanks but the company I work for has a ban on holidays between October and March ( it's a I irrigation company ) so un less the AGM is moved back so I can depart WA from 1st April with sufficient time to get there I will never attend. If it was in April I would be counting the days. HAVE FUN ! Best Greyshadow.

Hey Greyshadow and Prince, I'm also bringing my swag as I'm thinking about staying an extra day down in the lower south somewhere. Gonna rough(y) it out!
If either or both of you are keen to go the extra day all good. If not then still good.
See you gents in the morning.

Just got home from the road trip with Mark (Greyshadow) and Phil. Total kms ridden over the 2 days was 1274km. 552km yesterday and 722km today. Used a total of 60l in fuel which equates to 4.7l/100km for my Yami. Only drama is Mark's bike which seems to have developed an electrical problem. It refuses to start or turn over in neutral. Put it in gear, rock it back and forth, pull the clutch in and it starts ... is that a new honda security feature?
Photos and further commentary to follow over the coming days.

Ray, when Greysahdow said at the end of the day, "Let's have beer!" I didn't think he literally meant just a beer...
And yeah! It was his shout!!!!

Yes, apologies for the delay. I don't have the right facilities for bulk photo uploading at home. I've only got mobile internet so I have to wait until I get a break at work to do it all.

As for the beer...
after a long hot day in the saddle the drinks were going down really well...until it was time for Greyshadow's shout!
