Do those paddock type stands I've seen under sports bikes not do the trick? They may do Kevin. I, m not sure if there is enough room to pull out the wheel bolt. That's where they latch on I think. Google it is the go The bike lifts are great though for all servicing and washing, polishing, admiring Lo.l Whoops didn't see the pic when I posted. Well looking at that there wouldn't be a problem. Depends where it grabs on the Honda though mate C heers Ray

Hi Kevin Paddock type stands? You've lost me there. Cheers ... Mark This type of thing.... View AttachmentWeight has to be considered. Those are designed for dirt and sport bikes. The shadow at 250+kg is a tad heavy for those.

Thanks for the tips. I've reconsidered my options, one of which is a free tow by RAA (RACV/NRMA equivalent) and the fact I don't have a jack/stand, and the fact I don't have a torque wrench the only sensible option is the RAA. But one thing I'll be looking for now is a solid/mag wheel for the back because my love of spokes has taken a battering in the last 12months and I can't find definitive evidence one can put slime in a tube and it works.
