Hi All, Received my eBay order of footboards (front and back) today and fitted them straight away. It was too wet to ride. The boards cost about $220 with postage and only took a week or so. Fitting the front was a breeze but the square section mount of the passenger boards were slightly too long. Nothing the bench grinder couldn't fix and I was pleased to see that they were constructed of stainless all the way through, not just chrome plated. Anyway, a couple of hours and the job was done. The eBay link for these is here
eBay also provided another solution for my 2006 VT750 which is not equipped with a clock. Found this little item which took about 30 seconds to fit. The eBay link for this item is here:

Hi Theo, they look great, it gives you a bit of a buzz when you do things yourself, plus I hate paying someone.

Looks to be a good deal. Does it make the position of your feet closer or lower. How stable r they. From the look it seems to be a single bolt holds it one. Daz

The rider boards are totally adjustable in every possible direction - you should be able to locate them exactly where you want. They are very stable once all the bolts are tightened. Once they are aligned in the correct position, a set of collars with teeth interlock to provide stability.

Didnt think i,d like floorbaoards when i first put them on but now cant do with out me thinks . Though for some unknown reason they are getting smaller on the outside edges . . Going to make some up at work shortly . Have a clock as well . So handy having it there seeing as i dont normally wear a watch . Bit hard to see one anyhow with gloves on . So i got this clock that goes over the stem nut . Must be 4 yr old now only changed bats once so very pleased with it Cheers Ray
