I recently found a cheap way to upgrade the brakes on my 1100 aero (same will work for all 1100's). Is to change out the front brake master with one off a Valkyrie, braided brake lines and a performance machine 4 spot caliper. First problem is a performance machine 4 spotter caliper is $400 without shipping from the U.S, braided brake lines are from $110- $250, But the good part is you can pick a front master for under $100. Now the reason the valk master is better is because it has a bigger internal bore as a valk has twin front discs so therefore it has the ability to push more brake fluid into your caliper slowing you down better. I have just done the front master cyl conversion for now and I will upgrade to braided lines later, so I can see any gradual improvements. The master cylinder swap is a direct bolt on which also means the adjustable Valkyrie levers should also be a direct swap, I haven't taken any photos as this swap is so easy as long as you know how to bleed brakes there won't be any problems. The main reason for me doing this is 1100 aero front brakes are fairly wooden and to have a heavy barge like an aero with only a single front disc but a 125 crutch rocket will get twin discs belies reality.
As off this post the bike hasn't been tested yet as the weather is to shite to go out yet.

Took the bike for a quick spin today wow what a difference braking now is a lot less wooden and a lot more confidence inspiring. All up I wish I had've known about this sooner.
