Venue for SRA 2015 AGM
Well Ladies and Gents after much deliberation we have settled on a suitable location for the SRA 2015 Meet and Greet. As we have many fantastic locations in the south east of God’s country we did our best to find a spot that offers a good range of accommodation styles and affords us easy access to some of our best riding areas. We think we have cracked it as this area has everything from camping from 7 bucks (shared site) a night to cabins from $30 a night ( 6 person share) you can also hire flash as caravans for about $100 a night with a backpackers and budget units to five star suites right next door.
We have a good selection of food outlets to cater for breakfasts and dinners to suit all tastes and budgets from burgers to flash as spots for that romantic dinner with the wife. There are three clubs and two bottlos and a first class butcher and Foodstore all within a short 5 to 10 minute walk.
There is an excellent masseuse close by to relieve those aches after the big ride. And if you’re that way inclined a large shopping complex within walking distance
You can hit the waves for an early morning swim or plunge into the clear cool waters of the river to wash away the foggy beer head.
We will have a few fishing rods if you wish to try your luck but remember there is a fine line between fishing and standing by the water with your rod in your hand wasting time. You will able to have a go of stand-up paddle boarding or if you’re adrenalin junky try your hand at kite surfing.
Last but not least this area is on the door step of some of the finest riding in the south east of our fair state. We have tight twisty roads fast sweeping corners incredible lookouts and lovely hinterland towns. We have roads that follow the ocean and continue through some world class tourist destinations.
The SRA 2015 AGM will be hosted from the jewel of the south east on our stunning Sunshine Coast Cotton tree holiday park Maroochydore. So don’t for get to pack your DTs and thongs (that’s your jandals not your G string) oh and bring a jumper as Queensland autumn nights can get down to 16 degrees it can be brutal.
Please advise the staff at Cotton Tree Holiday Park that you are booking with Shadow Riders Australia as they have an area set aside for us. Don’t forget to ask about discounts for group bookings.
