Hello guys, i have a honda vt400 2012 model and was looking to get some vance and hines short shots that i plan to install myself. the only problem is im not sure about whether i should get oxygen eliminators or sensors and do i really need them at all? i just want the easiest way to get it installed and working thanks

Most pipes come without the holes to reinstall the sensors. Can ask when ordering. Most just use the eliminator s, easier. Otherwise you have to get threaded nuts welded on the pipes before installing them. A good tig welder can do it sweet as long as it's in a inconspicuous spot. Up to you really. Most go with first option. Hope this helps mate. Make sure you get the baffles in case they, re too loud. Short Shots are loud but sound nice. Cheers Ray

Yes. Model has not really changed since 04. I have done a few mods on mine with sourced 2nd hand parts from a wrecker and use the 04 and up rule when sourcing.
