Hi. Want to know what others have done to there fuel injected shadows when putting on aftermarket pipes. I have done lots of reading but still haven't got a good answer. The question that I need answered is with the O2 sensors. Is it better to weld in the bungs to the new pipes or just use eliminators.
I would like to get the V&H cruizer pipes for my 2008 VT750C
Thanks Chris

Hi Chris, Eliminators work well and are cheaper and easy to do,just clip in and keep the computor happy,Cheers

general consensus is just pipes or just air filters added no aftermarket pc needed. if you do pipes and air filters, then you will need a PC and a dyno tune.
if only doing pipes and clip in the o2 eliminators you will most likely get an FI light error. there are ways around it. have heard if you put the sensor back in the pc can adjust air/fuel. but better of with the dyno at the end of the day.

Most just do as Croc and Ken have stated. Iff you want to get the bungs done make sure you know of a good TIG welder . Have a good look were to put them . Remembering you have brand new Chromed pipes . Some on here over the years have done it quite successfully with out needing to rechrome. Get the most from the beast well Commander 5 should do for your year maybe 3 . Then DYNO .sweet as a nut . Depends on what you want from your bike as a personal thing . If you Dyno while your at it put on a hypercharger .$$$ all up. My 2 cents worth Cheers RAy
