Can be a bit of uneven wear on the front tyre as well . One side can get uneven wear from low pressure or misalignment. Most likely though what Croc said. Am having a bit of that now ,not as bad if i keep the tyre pressure up .. Will be getting it balanced again however. Yanks use a product called DYNO BEADS but as yet i havent tried it. Put the beads in the tyre and balances it out apparently .

Check over the entire front end for loose bolts (axle, fork bolts, etc) missing wheel weights look for dirt mark, even give your spokes a very light ding with a spanner as a loose one will sound different, If the shudder is there only under braking you may have warp disc or a sticky caliper.

I had the front wheel balanced at Grafton on the way home from the AGM but this didn't help much. I fixed the problem today, I replaced both front and rear tyres. No more shudder.. Thanks for all the help..

Thanks for all the help.. Yeah mate seems to be the prob. I got mine looked at the other day for the came reason .They checked out front end then took the tyre of the rim to check inside . Rebalanced once refitting the tyre . The end result it is much better but they say the front has a slight feather on one side that is most likely the cause. Damn thing is only half worn . Not impressed. Put Perrelli,s they said last time good wearing tyre . Nup might go back to Bridggees next

I use Dunlop D404 front and rear. I thought I did alright with them, 22,500kms front and 16,000 from the rear. I usually run 34 psi in the rear but was advised by the dealer to run it at 38 psi.
