;)HI fellow riders ,just trying to get a few thoughts from fellow shadow riders about going from standard twin pipes to 2 in1 . Glad to recieve a few toughts on the subject. I have noticed a few or you blokes and gals have these systems . My stocks are fairly quite and wouldn.t mind just a bit louder. Cheers Ray

Hi Ray, I bought my '02 Shadow third hand and it already had some modifications, one of which was Vance and Hines pipes. They were fitted to improve performance and are also a lot louder than the standard. It's passed rego while I've had it so I guess that means they are excessively noisy, but my wife recons she can hear me coming a block away.

Thanks Owie; Not wanting to go to loud ,but am looking at the 2 into 1 system . Haven,t heard them yet ,but i like the look and would give me more saddle and passenger foot room. Good to see you on line again. Cheers Ray

Ray, a 2 in 1 system might give you a little more room but I have saddles and they clear the twin pipes Ok. I was going to get a picture but the bike is parked behind my wifes car so maybe later.
