Hi all new to this so hope I am posting in the right area. I have a 2013 vt400c I'm looking to change my exhaust went to my local bike shop and got quoted $1100 for some vance and hines plus another $500 for some fuel pack. I'm a little confused about it all and seemed very expensive. Can anyone recommend where I can go to for this around Melbourne to get the right pipes for my bike

Hi Dale i,m QLD so cant recommend any places but i,m sure the VICS will see your post . Can post in the Victorian section if you wish .V&H Cruzers from the states will set you back around $550 and the fuel managment should not cost more than $250 -$300 .There are a few brands ,Power Commander 3 or 5 depending on whay year bike . Can also get the Cobra powrPro which will suit any year. . Hope this helps . Short shots in the V&H are the loudest if your looking for that but the cruzers are pppuuuurrrffffeeeecccctt. Cheers Ray

Check 1st if there is a power commander device to suit a 400. I never found one. They are all programmed for 750cc. Should work OK without a fuel management device. I strongly suggest having bungs welded into the pipes for the O2 sensors rather than using eliminators.
