Had a really nice ride out to York today leaving at 5.45am travelled 382Km and back home at 11am to beat the heat. We left Stratton at 7.05am travelled through the Avon Valley to Toodyay on to Northam and then York where we indulged ourselves wit pies, pasties and sweets at the bakery. After spoiling ourselves we left York travelled through the Lakes, Mundaring and then past the weir to Kalamunda from Kalamunda we travelled south through the picturesque Bickley Valley to Karagullen and on to Jarrahdale disbanding and going our separate ways when we reached the South West Highway in Mundijong. I have now organised three rides for the Shadow riders members, two by direct invitation via email and this the third via the web and facebook. I have had two email responses with apologies and one Shadow rider turn up for one of these three rides. I know that there are members out there but am at a loss as to how to attract them to ride out. It will not stop me from asking or continuing to ride by myself as I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of the 21,500 Km covered in the last year.
I have attached a couple of pics of our bikes in York as well as an old timer spotted across the road.

Well done Rhino. Just keep posting and enjoy your rides. Hopefully you will get more Shadow riders coming along on your rides.
