As per Rays recommendation , I have a slightly neglected VT750 which is cleaning up quite well. It has a set of Slash Cut Cobra pipes and the baffles are spot welded in one place not bolted. I spoke to Link Distribution and this exhaust is no longer supported so I cannot get quiet baffles. I can put a set of Vance and Hines quiet baffles into this from MCA Dandenong and they are over $100 each and would probably not be a good fit. The cheap way out of this is to install a set of stock pipes and be done with it for the roadworthy.Honda tells me that an 04 set will also fit the bike but DC will not.
Anyone that can help out with a set they don't use and are willing to sell regardless of condition would be appreciated as this is the only item I need to pass a roadworthy.

Hi Glenn and welcome to the forum. I can't help you with pipes. Have you scrolled through the bike bits for sale thread to see if there are any there for sale? If you don't have any luck in buying some, if someone was to offer to lend you pipes for you to pass the RWC, and then you return them, is that an option? Unless there is another Dandenong in Australia somewhere I assume you are in Victoria.

Hi George , I would prefer to buy them if possible as I would not be comfortable borrowing them . Looked through the bike bits for sale and there don't appear to be any for sale,Gumtree and Ebay no luck there either so I thought I would give this a go. Hopefully I will have better luck here. Happy to pay for shipping anywhere in Australia as long as the price is right. I live in the south eastern suburbs of melbourne.

Just to Clarify Its a 2000 C2 VT750. I was looking to get a set of 2004 C4 pipes from one of the members in Toowoomba but apparently they are not a match.

Ok so I have arranged to have Megacycle in Somerville modify the existing pipes so hopefully they will be able to quieten them down enough for a roadworthy. Cheap enough that it is worth a crack. I would like to thank all for your comments and recommendations.
I will still be prepared to take a set of 2000 C2 pipes down the track anyway.

It is pointless them sitting in the shed for maybe needing them one day. I might as well sell them if you want them. I like my loud pipes.
