Hi ppl, Today I put some frames and saddle bags on my 1300. Got the frames from a site in the states. I'm not one for documenting jobs so I started pics late but here are some of them. The 1300 doesn't have the outside rail like the 750 so the frames mount up under the bodywork which has to be removed to do so. But the pics aren't in the proper order. First job is to take off the side covers then the seat comes off. After that the rear guard is removed. First pic is with the seat and side covers removed and the rear fender to be removed. Next should be the 3rd pic with everything removed. Above is a pack of the frames before I took them out of the pack. The second last pic shows the first frame fitted to the bike. I discovered that it was easier to join the two bits together before putting them on the bike. The final pic is mounted on the bike. Highwayrunner aka Brian

And here are the bags on. This isn't the final set up.....they've been lifted up higher away from the pipes. . . So I'm just about set up for the big ride in a couple of months. We've got hard paniers for Cathy's bike, just need to fit them on and we're just about set! Highwayrunner aka Brian. Attachments:

Good job there Brian. I think I might have to upgrade my saddle bags. I've had them 18 years and they are looking a bit worn!! Anyway see you in 5 weeks LOL
