When I brought my bike it came with some big thick real leather saddlebags. My problem is one of them needs some stitching done to it, Does anyone know of anyone who could do that sort of work in the Northern Suburbs, needs a heavy duty sewing machine ?

Might pay to checkout saddlery stores, they usually know someone that works with leather..

Have you tried a shoemaker? They usually have the big industrial sewing machines.

I found a lady locally that makes horse rugs that had gear good enough to stitch leather.

Well I brought a leather sewing kit off E-bay for $15 and hand stitched the bag back together. Came out good, helps if you have the right tools and you tube . Bloody fingers are sore.
