Hi Guys... I want to install a V&H Straight Shots Exhaust to my VT750C (2004). Just wondering if anyone has done this and if so, did you have to rejet the carb? And if so, any recommendations on who could do a good job of it here in Melbourne?

I would suggest you will need to change your jetting, particularly if changing your intake system as well (such as K&N air filter or snorkel mod).
If you are mechanically minded you can do the jets yourself, there are plenty of tutorials on youtube and it really is simple.
For my VT1100 I bought a kit which included correct jetting and the K&N air filter. If you plan on doing the filter, do it at the same time to ensure correct jetting.

if you are just changing the pipes you don't need to re-jet just adj your air/fuel ratio on the mix screw.
cheers,
spinal.

The mixture screw only changes idle and low RPM circuit, but see how you go.

When I had my VT I did the jets using a Dynojet kit which gives you different jets and also an adjustable needle. I found it made the bike run a lot better and got rid of the popping, It also had V&H pipes and K&N air filter.
Also had a mate have a shop fit pipes and do the carby and they used a washer on the standard needle which he wasnt to happy about when he found out some time later as they charged him for a Dynojet kit.
As for a good mechanic speak with George as he has someone good out your way I believe.
