Hi folks. We have recently been advised that our normal meet and greet venue, Threshermans Bakehouse in Carlton has closed it’s doors. I am not sure if they are renovating and will then reopen at a later date. So, at such short notice our meet and greet breakfast this Sunday will be at the following:
Muletas Café 422 Queen Street, Mebourne on corner with Franklin Street. It is very near the Queen Vic Market. The venue has lots of outdoor seating as well as lots of indoor tables. There is ample free parking for bikes and lots of parking for cars, but I am not sure whether you may have to pay a meter fee. However it is not expensive! Everyone is welcome so bring partners, friends, kids etc, same time from 9am onward. I apologise for the late notice and for any inconvenience. We hope to see you there. Best Wishes George

Well it seems luck is against us as the moment. Threshermans Bakehouse has closed down and the new venue I suggested for this Sundays meet and greet breakfast, Muleta’s Café, near the Queen Vic market has also closed it’s doors. Although we have many great cafes in Melbourne it is hard to find one that suits our needs, ie one which could cater for anywhere between 5 to 20 walkins. So at this stage the meet and greet breakfast for this Sunday is CANCELLED. I will try and find a suitable venue for next months meet and greet. However Sunday is going to be a nice sunny and warm 29C and perfect for riding. For those who might be interested I am going for a ride through the Yarra Valley area. I will depart from MacDonalds Restaurant at 101 Maroondah Highway Croydon (next to Sofias Restaurant) at about 9.30 am. I will then go to the Yarra Glen Bakery, which is next to the IGA Supermarket arriving at about 10.00am. Depending if anyone else comes along, I will either head to Healesville then up the Healesville /Kinglake Road, through Chum Creek, Toolangi etc to the Melba Highway and then come back toward Yarra Glen, go up Christmas Hills, Kangaroo Ground and then to Warrandyte. Anyone is welcome to join me on the ride or meet along the way.
