Hi everyone, a quick noob question from a new owner of the 2013 Shadow.
I am not really happy with the light output of my factory headlight, so I thought of replacing the whole assembly with a brand new sealed beam headlight. But before I go and buy something that may not work right on my Shadow, I decided to post here hoping that you folks will comment on this and perhaps share your experience. Any help is appreciated!

I just thought that if the assemblies go with the factory-installed LEDs, they are guaranteed to focus right. Plus, I will be able to adjust them. I was not sure if that's a good idea, so decided to post here and as long as you recommend getting just LED bulbs, let me ask you something. Will LEDs focus okay in the regular assembly? Won't they blind the others on the road? Also, I am kinda concerned that LED bulbs may be too hot and can potentially melt the plastic... That's what I;ve read online, but I haven't faced these problems in person.

Hi i have had one on my bike for years and have had no problems, when you insert the bulb you can be rotated the back of it,so you just have to make sure that when on high beam it projects up and low down and to the left hand side. as for the concealed beam setup sorry can't help there as i have not come across anyone that has done this mod. as for the heat, have also read that but that was for the HID Kits which come out in 35w and 55w, [ which i also had on my bike for years ] auto electrician said to stick to 35w because it gives out less heat but still very bright. hope this helps, we are also on Facebook if you want to post you question on there. search.....
