The Melbourne toy run was as awesome as ever. Always great to ride with 100's of bikes with a full police escort. Though this year there seemed to be far less participants. Caught up with Trucker (Rob) and Puffy (Paul) on the ride.

Adelaide toy run was run this week as well and we headed off to Strathalbyn to ride with our group straight to Callington as there is no police expert here and we're have to fight with traffic and pt up with the lights and all, with 10000 riders it's a nightmare
Going through Willunga there were no signs to warn that the road ahead was closed for the Australian rally car hill climb Turned around in town and went up the new hill, steeper and longer, get to the top turn left and after the corner ROAD CLOSED Bugga, turn around but die to the very step camber down we went, I tried to hold her but with both of us on and the extra cancer it was impossible Luckily for the bike the highway peg and the saddle bags took the brunt of the tumble and no damage I was lucky and only got a bruised hip where my GERBER might tool sits Brenda though ended up quite sore about 3 inches below armpit She wanted to continue and we got to Strathalbyn, where I decided not to continue because Brenda looked uncomfortable, we gave our toy to another rider, saw them off then came home Today she saw a doctor who confirmed a broken rib That's our 3rd tumble and it hasn't put her off, so that's good

Edited my last post to say Adelaide toy run The news had reported 10 000 riders But from someone who attended it was more like 4000 The turn it was poor this year as last year it was discovered that only the toys went to St Vincent de Paul Any money "donated" went to the MRA, Motorcycle Riders Association (if your state's association is a different name) Everyone was led to believe ALL donations went to VINNIES While the MRA try to do some good for SA riders, that money should go to VINNIES
