I just want to say "Hello" to everyone since I haven't posted anything on this board yet. I own a 2004 Shadow Aero with a few mods, just to be different from the rest... So far I'm liking this site, I'm glad I found it.

Are thewhite walls the real thing, or painted on? Do your pipes have a good sound, cause they look like mine (came with the bike so I don't know the brand) & mine a have a great sound. The 'chrome' stri you have on your tank would also look good on your guards (I have sameon guards & tank) Where abouts on the central coast are you?

Joedes good to have you with us . The 04 looks much the same as the 09 in tank emblems ,thought it was untill i saw the front rotor on the left side. Pre 07 i think. A fe mods hey yeah right. Is looking good. Have the pegs been moved mate ,from the angle it looks it . Interesting if they are because of the crash bar that you have. Steve will be drooling over your white walls they look great to be sure. have a good one and keep pics up of your ride and rides as well. Oh as Mac said were are you exactly the pic looks familiar actually ,nice bay. Cheers Ray,Trish Gympie QLD

I asked Geoff Taylor where I bought my bike form about white walls and they said they can order them in but are a bit more expensive to the normal tyres for obvious reasons. Should have asked how much ...

Hi, Thanks for all those nice comments on the bike; I'm glad you all like it. Now, just to answer some of the questions ..., the white walls are painted on (special WW paint from Bad Penny Customs), I think it made a big difference on the look of the bike ... more retro. The Air Hawk cushion made a big difference as the Shadow seats are not known for their comfort, not mine anyway. The pipes are Cobra Lo Boy shotguns (it's LOUD) currently waiting on quiet baffles from cruiser customizing just to tone down the sound a bit. It attracts too much attention from the cops at times .... Kuryakyn Wing pegs and signal light bezels, I also mounted a clock on the handle bar and a Vista cruise control which helps on long rides. I'm from Green Point the picture was taken at Tascott (NSW), Brisbane Water drive

Ok ta for the run down but now you have more questions to answer . ;D How long is it since you have painted the tyres . Two of our memmbers that i know of have tried the paint from Bad Penny's and it seems to yellow out a lot .Nothing to do with Simon here it could be a number of things. Looks pretty new. Like the pegs have been thinking of them as well as lowering the rear for the wife . Money isn't it always a hinderance. Got a good price from B/Penny's so i'll go with that when the green stuff comes plentifull. ;D Cheers Ray
