Hi All, Just 10 days to go before my holiday starts! I am almost ready...knowing I am going to buy a bike makes me a bit anxious. Still checking the Internet...so fingers crossed that I find myself a reasonable priced bike (hopefully a Shadow)! I put in my plan, so if you got time please join me! Send me a message and I contact you. I hope to meet some of you during my rides. Just looking for some advise: Who can give me tips of good places in Melbourne (or even in Tasmania) who buy bikes for cash (like Spot On Motorcycles)? Greetzz from a happy rider!! Hi Nicole ,glad your all sorted out .  Looks like a full on itinerary you have there.  Very dissappointed we here in QLD wont be able to catch up with you. Hopefull Kingy can help you out in the NSW department. . Have 2 Shadows here in gympie for sale ,unfortunately that wont help you . Hell i just remembered i put a lovely Shadow in the BIKE FOR SALE section the other day in this forum . From Leeton in NSW. Have a look at it and see if it suites. Private one though. About all i can help with so far. Hey put some pics up of your journey if possible,would be freat to see how you fare. Cheers Ray |

There is a VT750S for sale on Ebay, & in Melbourne at a good price ..so far..(unfortunately unregistered...may be able to negotiate that with seller) but it only has 21hours to run. Worth a look???

1 in NSW for $6.200 neg vt750 2005 model you may like to check out
hope this is of some help--like ray said about not heading QLD WAY

Hii Chris, I spotted this one earlier as well, looks nice and within my budget  As Bike sales don't recognize non-Australian mobile numbers (!?!) it takes a bit longer to get the owners information. (I asked a OZ friend to lock in and get it). Hii Ray, this one looks very cool, but a bit above my budget unfortunately  Next trip I definitely visit QLD...'I'll be back' Thx for all your tips, just one week to go...I keep in touch! Hi Nicole. Maybe while your here we can catch up for a ride. My background is dutch and I lived in Best for 3 years as a kid. Would love the chance to get a bit of practice talking it again over a cuppa.

Hi everybody!
I am enjoying my visit in Oz. But where did you hide the sun??? I thought it was summer at this end of the world!! Lots of rain so far, so my plans changed and I got myself a small camper van.
In Melbourne I plan to rent a motorbike and ride for a few days before going to Tassie. I didn't bring my gear for no reason...
Althought my holiday isn't over yet I know I have to come back and do it properly next time...great road to ride a bike on!!!

Next time you do QLD we,ll gaurentee a meet for you . . Serious note it was probably a good idea to get the van. I hope all goes well for your trip and a jolly good time is the result. What rain? I can't see any rain down here...Clear sunny skies here in Melbourne. For the record, Sydney actually has more days of rain than Melb:)
