Hi all.
Now I want some input for the next meet and greet. After our last one, lets make it lunchtime. Any suggestions for where and which weekend?

George recommended a place but I can't recall where. My suggestion is the moto cafe in healsville or that place in willy you found.

I would love to hit Healsville again. Great riding up there. I think the Willy place would be a bit steep but I will check it out after work one day this weekend.

Healsville sounds good.. In fact anywhere sounds good. The earlier the better. There are heaps of cafes in Healsville and Giant Steps is pretty good also. It has a huge car park and Beechworth Bakery is next door. I haven't been to Moto cafe, but heard its pretty good. I think it is actually opposite Giant Steps.

Long range weather forecast for this Saturday is 29c and I think some rain on Sunday. Lonewolf, do you think we need to poll for votes as to whether to meet on Sat or Sun? I'm OK for either. I think Graham mentioned at our last meet and greet that Saturday's were hard for him due to sporting commitments. Had a look at Motto cafe on the internet. Looks good.

Afraid I'm booked out all weekend. Going to event on Saturday as part of a team, and have a wedding to attend on Sunday...finally a weekend I have off because of holidays, but too busy with other commitments, sorry! Good luck and hope you have a great time whichever day you choose!

This weekend I am not available, but don't let that stop you. Weekend after easter I should be free. So we shall make one fore that weekend as well.

I'm still keen to meet and greet. If we go to Healsville, can I suggest we go for a bit of a ride either before, or after lunch. I'm thinking if we go after lunch, we can cut across from Healsville to the Kinglake Road, then ride toward Yarra Glenn, cut through to Kangaroo Ground, Mousey can then continue on toward home and the rest, or if Mousy wants to continue with us, perhaps ride on into Warrandyte, then head back toward Ringwood/Nunwading and then everyone goes home. Or alternatively we can do it the other way, that is meet in Nunwading somehere like McDonalds on cnr Springvale/Whitehorse Rd and do the ride in reverse. Any thoughts??

Are we up for a meet and greet this weekend I see some members have indicated they cannot make it. Next weekend is Easter and other than Shane's ride on good Friday, might be a bit difficult for others. I'm not sure if I will be working on good Friday. I'm happy to catch up this weekend. Otherwise we can make it the weekend after Easter??? Then there's the planned weekend ride to Yarram on the last weekend of April.

I have the kids this weekend as the wife is away, and my ride is still getting raked.

I went for a ride today and traveled through Healsville. I stopped at AJ's Moto cafe and introduced myself to the owner Joanne. She was a lovely and friendly person and thrilled that Shadow Riders might stop there one day for lunch or just a coffee. They have a small but inexpensive menu which is on their web site: www.ajsmotocafe.com.auAttachments:

Keep the rubber side down and stay safe people! (Apologies for thread hijack). PS: There are no such things as "accidents" on our roads. They're called "collisions" as someone is always at fault.
