Ouch and bugger. That's not good news. Here's hoping for a quick and full recovery. If there's anything you need, or a hand with anything just yell out mate.

G'Day Gents, Had a great Ride with Nobby and the guys. Very nice views and great roads through the peninsula. Definitely enjoyed the ride however, had a minor incident on the way home and ended up with three possibly four broken bones in my right foot. 5 minutes from home after a car cuts in front of the car in front of me, car brakes, I brake and swerve to miss car. Didn't swerve quite enough and clip the back left guard of the car hence the foot peg crushed my foot up against the bike. Need to make an appointment with ortho who will decide if I need pins. Damaged the right foot peg, no other damage except pride !!! Doctor says to keep of bike and feet 4 to 6 weeks possibly longer if pins put in. Nobby after six hours at the hospital and getting foot in plaster I also ad several whiskeys when I got home. Hope to get back on the bike sooner than later. Cheers all :oWow mate sorry to hear of the bingle . Sounds like you came out worse than the bike . Hope a speady recovery is the go . COuld always take the car out for a meet on there rids in between time. Get better soon. Cheers RAy

Bloody sorry to hear that mate, but I guess we can always console ourselves by saying "it could have been much worse" maybe our next Meet & Greet can be somewhere near you, I can get Trish be designated driver and I have a very special bottle of 15yr old Jamesons that really takes the pain away. Recover quick mate ... the really good riding weather is almost here.

Sorry to hear mate, if there is anything I can do give us a yell. Look on the bright side, now it gives you the time to look at an up update. VTX1300

G'day all, Thanks for your kind thoughts. I will make sure I get to the meet and greets one way or another. Mentioned upgrading to a bigger bike to the missus, after getting home from the hospital. The temperature dropped to minus 50. Could have picked the timing a bit better. Cheers....
