Mine is an '05 750 and was a bit doughy when it had low k's. I had it tuned when it reached about 18000k's just after I bought it and it's now got 28ooo 'ish. Power is most definately better as it's getting older/run in...........seems that way anyway ! Just a thought, mate.

Welcome.
Just out of curiosity, if you don't mind me asking, how much did you get for the old one and how much for the new one, how many K's, etc ?
I am thinking of doing a similar thing
Although I don't have any issues with power/speed with my 2005, just like the look of the Sabre

no worries madkeen. My 2006 VT750 only had 8000ks,shorty straight through (loud) pipes and 2 inch risers and western bars.Got 4500 as a trade on the VT1100,its 2003 ,23,000k.Windscreen,crash bar, sissy bar, kentucky saddlebags.paid 8000.I just got Mike down here at Tranzac to shorten the baffles-sounds nasty now.
