Yes it would be. a lot of second hand bikes, especially in the 250cc range, are grey imports. The amount of greys on the road has increased since the value of the Australian dollar shot up.

There's an 1800 for sale in SA on guntree. He's looking for a trade but you could ask for a cash price. Looks like it has a few nice touches - air intake etc. Honda VTX 1800 reg feb customized runs very well fast and solid bike 123hp bike has cost me $ 16,000 wanting to swap or trade around same value for car or boat txt me what you have 0407090113 www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/adelaide-region/motorcycles/custom-cruiser-1800cc/1009070570

No thanks Shane, I'm going to wait see if one in Vic comes along, not in a hurry as I've still got the 750.

Shane , did you have a look at the bike mag we got in the show bag in Albury. I know the mag was a couple of months old, but there was an 1800 for sale for $11,000 with low kilometres and it was in Vic. Page 82 from memory.

123hp? Thats a crock. With top of the range air intake, pipes, power commander and fully tuned it will only crank out 115hp max at the rear wheel. Even spending another $7000 on engine internals will only garner you another 5hp.

Congratulations Shane. Nice looking bike you got yourself. It has been hard enough keeping up with you on your 750 let alone now that you have this power monster ;D ;D ;D
