yeah agree with ray on this, if we are to do as a shadow group we are going to alot of support from everyone, lifes pretty busy for all and dont want any one person to cope all the work pressure, otherwise those dreaded chest pains start. Ray, Doc will catch up over the next few weeks with you both about this. It's going to be short notice either way...

That it will be mate ,so a decision will be either to do it this year or wait and prepare properly with more time next year . Have to start somewhere though. :)Could even do a child run and give toys to the poor buggers that will be in hospital over the Christmas period. Cheers Ray

Maybe we should just tag along on another toy run, just for the first year, just to learn what to and what not to do?? But either way, you got my support, nothin worse than being stuck in hospital at chrissy!

I love doing the Christmas toy runs. Did Ipswich then Toowoomba last year. Work out what we are doing and I will do my best to make it.

All Riders Welcome , Untill we get our own toy run up and running next year , the Lockyer branch Ulysses club have the Annual Ipswich Toy run . Sunday 9/12/2012. Start 10am Brassal shopping centre Finishing Ipswich Show grounds sounds short but they say it takes nearly a hour , so must circumnavigate ipswich ? I plan to go and find out ? Cost for $20 package which will include Cooked Breakky Coffee/Tea Bottled water Badge or pin and a ticket in the perpetual prize draw . Sounds like fun and a learning experence not to mention a good cause ....hope to see lots of the Shadow Riders on the day ?

We decided that it would be much better to leave it till next year . This will give us a better lead up to the event . Time is a bit short to get it up and running. I know for me that Nov& Dec are pretty hectic months and i know most of the members also have busy interests & jobs . So go and enjoy your local Toy Runs like the one Doc has posted (Sounds a top one that Doc). Dont forget to see how they are run and this can be put forward as ideas of our own . Cheers Ray

I did the Ipswich run for the first time last year. I didn't mind it. Will be doing it again this year. There is another Ulysses branch one at the start of December - I will check out the details with one of the boys at work and keep you posted.
