Toy runs are both good and bad the good is the helping the underprivledged the bad is rideing with some riders who seem to only get their bikes out once a year for this event and can't share the road safely with other bikers
That said it feels great to do something positive with something your passionate about (your bike and your mates) Yes I plan to go on the local toy run because charity starts at home

Anyone who is going to do the Ipswich toy run is invited back to our place for a sausage sizzle after the ride. Just let me know.

TheGold Coast Cruiser Club run one each year & it's on this Sunday. They met at their usual place, & that place (a coffee shop) has been accepting gifts of toys from the public for last month. On the day (next sunday) we all turn up with highly decorated bikes, loaded with toys, ride around a few suburbs (68 bikes last year) & finish at church where we unload all the toys for them to distribute. Works a treat. If you are thinking of sometime i Dec, the advrtising for the charity to be supported & a base for toys to be dropped off, should be organised now.
