I've got a couple of weeks off over Christmas so I've ordered a Cobra Fi2000 (adjusts the amount of fuel for the EFI), a couple of pair valve caps ( to remove the pollution crap and help stop the backfire) and some new spark plugs all from the USA. Spark plugs here range from $22 to $30 each and you need 4, I got 8 plugs from the states for $68 inc post. The bike came with V&H pipes and I have already replaced the air filter with a K & N unit. Did I tell you I Love my new ride

If you ever need someone to to keep her company when you're away I will begrudgingly oblige.

OK Shitty weather this morning so as one does I did some work on the bike. Fitted the FI2000 and played around with the settings as advised on the VTX forum. Fitted a new set of Bosch Platinum spark plugs. De snorkeled the air box and removed the Pair valve assembly. and checked valve clearance while everything was off, ( one to tight ). Everything was easy except the valves on the rear cylinder, very hard to get to. The bike now has a much deeper exhaust note and no backfire ;D It is so much more smoother to ride, haven't noticed a huge increase in power but believe me when I say you don't need it It is just so much better to ride especially when riding slow.( someone told me lol ) I've got a Saddleman seat on order as the stock seat is pretty ordinary after a few klm I love my new ride and man it goes like a 14 year old in the shower ;D ;D ;D
