MRC, I feel a little out of it, I like riding my bike not spening too much time on the "Show & Shine" & I'll feel like a grub if I turn up on any of these (many) S n S outings. What happened to the good old, 'let's ride' or Meet n Greet?

What happened to the good old, 'let's ride' or Meet n Greet? The Show and Shine is a new option to have different activities. It is really hard, and almost impossible to please everyone, but by throwing new activities in we can have more to choose. We will still have M&G, short and long rides for sure! I have planned 2 rides so far but have not posted them since we should all agree on the calendar, our reckless and fearless leader will post it soon and then I will start posting the planned rides. Ray has also organise a ride already and I am pretty sure there will be more people (e.g. Ace) that will organise long rides. Again, the S&S, BBQ's and all those things add a nice variety to what we do. And that folks, is my personal opinion. Cheers.

Have to admit I am not much into the that bike is prettier than that one or that gadget is better than that one but for those who are it is fine. A different sort of event we all get to ride there that is point of it . We don't have to compete One of the best things I ever did (when I was alot younger) was a midnight to dawn navigation ride )

Riders, it's just something to call it, doesn't mean you have to polish ya bike and compete, I'm not. I'm going for the BBQ and a chat, anyway I will be there, if I see ya I see ya, if I don't catch ya another time........ Don't forget riders these are varities that I just throw in and thought it would be good to mingle and have a laugh. The old "lets ride" and meet and greet are also just names of things we do. They are still there (Aldo and Ace had two fantastic rides that they organised not long ago) so if you want to put your hand up and organise you will have my full support. But under no circumstances will I be held to be judged for things not happening. A group of riders is exactly that "a group" not 1 bloke and certainly not a top heavy work load. ALDO, I have updated some things on the calendar mate, let me know if if you can work around them and don't forget to include a smoke break lol ;D ;D

ive done 8000ks on my bike since i bought it new in march last year, most of those ks have been with the sra, ive made a few new friends on the way, i for one will endeavour to support as many rides as im available to do this year, its the company that we have ,more than the destinations that are great. and thanks to mrc and a few others who dedicate to making our rides so organised relaxed and enjoyable.

That sonds like a good program, I am hoping to be able to make at least one of them. I'm still nt sure if Pam and I will be able to make the E/States MandG but may be a late entry ( bit pissed at that as Ive been hammering this evet fr a couple of years),.
Anyway keep up the good work
