"G'day viewers", as i like to say. Well it's time for an update. As most are aware I am about to embark on a journey around the nation. Currently my status is, as of the end of the first week of August, "homeless" . The first 3 weeks after that I was kindly put up in the spare room of Angel's ( Jayne's ) place, whilst I awaited my first house sitting job to commence. ( special thanks to Jayne ). My current location is in the northern suburbs of Perth where I have been house sitting from Sept 1 to Nov 1. During this time I have been doing the last bits that I require of my new home ( my camper trailer ). I will be completing this process this week ( hopefully ). I will be documenting this by way of my usual videos. Currently my video editing process is severely limited as I have not upgraded my laptop to something with enough power to do video editing. That will be done in the next week or so. The w/end of the 1st of Nov I will be heading off. My mate Ross has suggested he would like to ride out with me as I head off. Which makes me think that we could do a "send off" ride similar to what we did when I went to the Dubbo AGM. I will post my actual departure date & time later in this thread for those who may be interested. So without further a due ( gees I'm full of it ) here is the first vid of my trailer electrification. www.youtube.com/watch?v=xR5BJ4Kfwps louie. PS:- as I move around the nation I will do my posts from with in the state that I am currently in, so as not to slam dunk any particular state forum with my carry-ons

well now that's a quick response from everyone. thanx for that Wolfishgrin ---> would love to catch up again...last time was way to brief. I will be in Vic from 15th of Dec to our Bright AGM in March. Locations and times so far are as follows. -15th -> 26th Dec, Bendigo ( my aunty ). -27th Dec -> 10th Jan, Latrobe Valley ( house sitting ). From then until March is still in flux, as I have a cuz in Melbourne & I want to spend more time with my aunty in Bendigo, plus am still looking for house sitting jobs in Vic ( am knocking back heaps from QLD at this time of year, go figure ). So i will definitely be getting in touch for some catch up time. Anna ---> yes that battery set up is very cool, am VERY pleased . Also thanx for the good word as far as vouching for my "house guest" rating is concerned, & yes I'm REAL excited ( even more than usual, which is a worry ). My plans from here (WA ), will place me in Cessnock NSW around the 10th - 15th of Nov so as to catch up with Casper. I intend to be there for 5 days or so ( was originally thinking 10, but I think it will make things a little tight for me on the way down past your place ). This should put me back on the road to Dubbo somewhere around the 15th - 20th of Nov. Then I will be making my way down to Bendigo after spending about a week in Dubbo. I will be in touch when I get a clearer idea of when I will be in Dubbo. Am looking forward to catching up with both you & Cray again. Ray---> Thanx for the offer. I will be heading to QLD after the AGM in March. So I will catch up with you & the rest of the QLD members mid year. As for an idea as to what I'm up to travel wise. It is fairly simple. Winter up north,( whether that be QLD or the territory depends on how cold or wet it gets ), summer down south, ( have been told by roughy & the sentient to make sure I spend time in Cairns ). Will basically be traveling in an arc from Darwin to Melbourne following in and out of the Great Divide for a period of 3 years or more. So if I don't see anybody on one pass I will see them on the next. My accommodation & work will be a combination of house sitting, living in my camper trailer & farm stays by way of casual employment. ( I've done stock work on cattle stations in the Kimberly when I was younger & also a bit of sheep station work as well ). Plus anything else that comes my way. My driving license gives me a wide range of driving jobs I can do, as I have a HR-R with an F & T extension. So the only things I can't drive are semi's & road trains. Hope this helps give everybody an idea of what my travels plans are. Looking forward to catching up with everybody on my travels. louie. PS:- am thinking of sending a PM to our Pres regarding setting up a dedicated "wandering fly" page much like the separate "Mooch" page is, so i don't slam dunk any states threads as I move around the country. PS:-2. Anna i did give serious consideration to a blog as u have suggested previously, but I don't think I am gifted enough with my written use of the word to be able to make a blog interesting to the reader. Unlike my use with the gopro ( or is that clowning around with the gopro )

I'll either join up with the ride at the Wundowie turnoff same as last time , or meet up with Brad in Mundaring ( flick him my mobile number so he can text me ). I'll do the ride to Southern Cross , or maybe further depending on how things are going time wise. Cheers Trog
