Hi Shadow Riders, In view of not riding or driving dangerously but still getting hit twice in as many weeks, I now fully appreciate the system will just wear you down, they want the revenue and you pay. Does't matter one I otta if you have a great driving record there is no fairness or leniency you just pay up! so can any one advise of a Nav/Cam/Speed Alert product that I can fit to my bike: So it can assist in planning and directing ride journeys. : Alert me of say 10% over speed Warnings : And Connect to Head phones in my helmet I would have to purchase the whole kit. Greatly appreciate any info. Best Greyshadow

Check out the "Don't get caught" website. They may have the solution you're looking for.

you might try just attaching your satnav to the bike and fit normal headphones. the newer satnavs constantly ping when you drive over the speed limit, also you can hear the directions. Unfortunately this is a set up i cant use as i have music in my head all the time!

G'day Mark, Simple, download the navman maps app for your smart phone. They have the posted speed limits displayed on your map as well as directions etc. Set your phones screen setting to max brightness, your done. Display is more than bright enough even on the sunniest of days. I run an Android phone & Roughy runs an iphone & we can see the display easy as, even with sunnys Now u just have to secure your phone to the handle bars like me & roughy have. louie. PS:- almost forgot. If u run music from your phone into your earpieces like Jayne , Roughy & myself ( mine are molded earplugs, same as Jayne's ). The app will pause the music to give u clear instructions, then after the instructions are given, play the music again right from where it left off... how good is that

Thanks Louie,Angel and Scrap, Down loaded an APP called Speed Alert today couldn't really try it out as the headphones I borrowed were not desighed for under a full face and they simply got pushed out of my ears. So I'll buy some that will do the job also the IPhone handle bar accessory I must look into that to. Tried to go out Scouting today but the wheather was lousy got in two down pours so I turned around and went home. Then as the day drew to an end the weather fines up just in time for 5 days off work Bugger hopefully next week end the weather will be good). Best GS

G'day Greyshadow,
Just read Gonzo's post about the "RAM" Mounts... I have these on my bike. If u chase up their web site u will see they were originally designed for the US military & have since been adapted for the civilian market.. I have my gopro cam, Mooch's ashes & my smart phone mounted to the handlebars by these mounts & swear by them... If u are going to catch up with me on the fair well ( running me out of town again ride ), I will show u them in the flesh..
louie.
