Bright Holiday Park
Cherry Avenue Bright
Ph (03) 5755 1141
www.brightholidaypark.com.au
It is set on 20 acres and has a large number of cabins priced from $110.00 per night.
CABINS
Rates are for 2 people.
Cedar cabin has a queen bed and 3 smallish bunk beds. ($110.00) – recommended for couples. (9 cabins available)
Cedar Villa has a queen bed and 3 bunk beds and is much larger than Cedar Cabins ($120) – 1 cabin.
River view cabins sleep 6. Has queen bed, double bed and 2 x single beds. ($130) – 4 cabins
River spa cabins 2 x queen beds and 1 single bed ($155) – 1 cabin
These prices are per night.
The prices may go up slightly by March next year but it will be only $5 or so.
CAMPING
There are also heaps of on site vans, powered and non powered sites for camping etc
THE LODGE
The property also has a Lodge which can accommodate 40 people.
The lodge has 10 bedrooms and each bedroom as 2 x bunk beds, ie 4 persons per room. Two bedrooms share 1 bathroom. The lodge also has a POSSIBLE SPAM POST - PLEASE REPORT kitchen, large dining room, large lounge type room, private BBQ and courtyard
There is also a shower/toilet block a short distance away.
Couples can share one bedroom, or two people or 4 if they wish to utilise all the bunks.
Costs for the lodge average out at about $25.pp per night. (If there are less than 20 people using the lodge the cost is $500 per night total. So that would be split by those using it. If there are more than 20 people using the lodge it is $25.00 pp per night.)
This means that we can have the lodge for those who don’t mind sharing, or even couples if they don’t mind having a single bed and those who prefer a cabin can book a cabin.
The lodge is well away on its own. Has great facilities so we can stay if per chance it rains (which it won’t).
The place is within a very short walking distance to the centre of the township.
Please contact the holiday park direct if you wish to book a cabin, caravan or camp site.
If you would like a room in the lodge contact me on my email tapai@tpg.com.au as I am co-ordinating bookings for the lodge only. Accommodation for The Lodge is 1st in 1st served.
If you would prefer a motel, please utilise the web and make your own booking. However I recently stayed at the Bogong View Motel which was very reasonably priced and is only about 50 metres from the Holiday Park. This motel has some rooms which can sleep up to 7 people comfortably.
