After many SMIDSYs and one very very very near miss I cracked my first 10,000ks today. It has been mostly uneventful apart from the near death experience that had me checking my reg grundies for stains. I did manage to pick up a ticket for using the emergency lane to get around the peak hour congestion at carsildine, but at 88 bucks with no points it's the cost of doing business. Most likely get done again now I said that lol. I went from being a tad nervous about touching a peg when cornering to I now have touched exhaust a couple of times. Another thing I have noticed is when I started on the road bike, I was biased to favour the rear break as i carried a dirt bike style to the shadow. Now when on the chook chaser I find my self favouring the front brake which can f u up quick in the dirt. I am looking forward to the next 10000ks oh and upgrading to a few more ponies. Cheers Azza

Grats mate . Getting there. I did my most k,s in the first year ,backed off a bit now but have to straddle the old girl tomorrow for a few quick revs . (Oh the bike i mean ) . It turns 4yrs old for me tomorrow, done good service ,no hassles ,great machine. Just wish they,d stop the tyres from wearing out . So well done and keep scratchin the pegs and not the pipes man . Too expensive . Cheers Ray
