Wendy, you are correct - we will agree to disagree - but I'm really looking forward to March & the AGM and a bit of debate over a beer or three. Of course I have to have a final word - I too believe in Justice - however I believe that justice should be delivered by society not gang rule.

Glad to hear that you weren't hurt Wendy. I have to admit that I reckon that I must be a very naive soul when it comes to this biker business. I work in the compliance industry, I believe in the rule of law, I believe that a person has the right to go to work and have a reasonable expectation to come home uninjured (I'm talking about the police here - those people who respond when our kids run into strife and need help or have to attend a domestic and both parties turn on them because they are brain dead bogans whose only skill in life is procreating or attend an airport or martial arts event because some testicularly challenged steroid pumping 1%er or try hard 1%er (we're talking about 1% of the average IQ here) decide to settle their differences, putting the public at risk) - and no I am not a Police officer. In my view there is no greater threat to our society than the illicit drug industry and if anyone thinks that these groups are not up to their necks in the production and distribution of this poison then one is kidding themselves and if the Government has to restrict a few civil liberties for the greater good of society - so be it. Anyway, you won't see me attending these rallies as long as these scum remain on the landscape giving ordinary bike riders a bad name. Cheers ... Mark Mark, I think you've missed something about this law that is happening. They are saying people are guilty by association. Forget us bikers for a minute. Consider you're at a party with group of people that you only know the host. Police raid the party because they have a tip off about a child molester. According to this law, because you were associating in the same building, you are put on the register for child molesters. Sounds fair? Sit back and let our civil freedom escape us and this will become like every other corrupt country. I'm fighting for my freedom just like our for fathers did. They would turn there guns on our government if they were here and knew what they faught for was going down the gurgler. I'm disgusted that our god given right can be so easily be handed over, and is under debate. This is discrimination with a disguise of crime fighting. They can shove it were the sun don't shine.

When did society even get a vote on these new laws , short answer , they didn't , these laws were brought in by a group of stuffy politicians with no thought given to what society had to say about it , no encouragement from the tax payers what so ever

I too believe that justice should be delivered by society and not gang rule, however society did not deliver these rules. These rules have been bought in by polititians without consultation. They have been bought in with lots of noise and ruckus and whilst the people where destracted to bought in other harsher laws that protect cops from prosecution if tgey are heavy handed. This is about freedom to associste with whom ever we so wish. Its not really about the bikies. Its about the rights of ordinary Australian's being eroded away by power hungry idiots. Who have just awarded themselves another pay rise. Cheers see you at the AGM

QLD government = NAZI germany... Bikies = Jews... the world went to war of that... what the F&^% are they asking for?

Cheers see you at the AGM Hi Wendy, I hear what you are saying, but I'd argue that society has delivered these rules because they have been introduced through Parliament by the elected representatives of the people. Now if these representatives overstep the mark they get voted out - that is what Parliamentary democracy is all about. Now saying all that, I do think that the pendulum has swung a bit too far against the rights of the individual over the rights and safety of society in general. If it means that murderous fights in airports (NSW), cafe shootings in broad daylight (SA), contract killings and the like are suppressed I'm prepared to put up with some stronger laws because I'm still naïve enough to believe that if I haven't done anything wrong then I won't have anything to worry about. I'm sure that there are plenty out there who will tell me that I live in a fools paradise. Cheers ... Mark
