Tanks look a lot better when they have been de-badged. I'd take a pic of my 1800 but it's pretty dirty from the ride yesterday.

The two best method of debadging bikes is to:
1) Use a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive and then use dental floss (or fishing line), in sawing motion, cut the adhesive from between the badge and the tank.
2) Use "desolve-it" or "goo-gone" to weaken the adhesive / double sided tape and use the dental floss or fishing line as mentioned above.
Some people say use WD-40 or the like, but I wouldn't do that as it may damage your paintwork. Make sure you do give it a good clean and polish afterwards.
**** DO NOT USE ANY HARSH CLEANING PRODUCTS OR SOLVENTS AS IT WILL RUIN YOUR PAINTWORK ****
Cheers
Simon.

Unfortunately not a write off as it's my personal bike. Funny thing about the CT110 is that we've been asked to do some concepts using a postie as the basis.

sounds very cool. We've had some people contact us with regards to parts for their postie. Seems there are few out there doing some interesting stuff with them. Actually the Japanese have been doing some interesting customisations of small bore bikes due to the cost of running big bikes over there.
