God, I'm a fickle ba*tard. I've just now done what Anna did and ordered the Paladin bars from Cruiser Customizing. SOOOOO...if anyone wants to pick up my HK special bar (it's one piece) it's going cheap. Cost me about $150 delivered. Make a offer and you could be the proud new owner. Still in bubblewrap.

See that looks a lot better on a black bike I reckon .. or maybe it's just the angle I shot my pic at ... I like the look on the black bike

Yeah they were funny looking on the bike I have to admit, at the time it was all about the safety without the high cost so they did the job. And yeah they are a bit like a roll cage .. I once tipped the bike on a big camber at a stop sign .. the bike went over then cause of the camber and the nice curve on the bar I thought she was going to just keep going til she stopped on her handlebars. Didn't tho and the bars did their job .. no damage to the bike at all. That's what it's all about .. made me feel that if I dropped her while moving I'd have some protection Hi Annastasia. true, if you want to have them on your bike they should be there for protection and just not looks.

Hi All,I am the proud owner of the one piece bar that Anna sold a while back, and I have made up brackets so they are now mounted to the frame top and bottom and as such are very strong and are no longer bolted to the top rad bracket.

Guys, I did exactly the same as Anna. So anyone wanting a cheap highway bar still in the bubble wrap PM me.... It's sitting here gathering dust now.
