Yeah Ok, my mistake. I misread it. Breeze not wind, breeze...flapping in the breeze. My sincerest apologies Anna, age is catching up with me, my eyesight is not what it used to be. I didn't mean to offend. Breeze, wind same bloody thing...ahhh nothing now I'm just rambling.

Thanks all - looking forward to taming this one. The reason I traded out the gorgeous VT750s, which you will all know is not a cruiser, was for a more comfortable ride, plus more miles in the tank. For me, the 750 was brilliant around town and for short tripping, but my body felt it on a longer run. As well, I didn't enjoy the reserve fuel light coming on at 170+km, at night, in the rain, crawling to conserve whatever was left, uphill, and with a lineup of 4WD idiots on my tail. Not to mention that Anna had to slow as well, so it was putting two riders at a disadvantage. My pickup trip from Gosford to Dubbo gave 20-21km/litre, abt 5.2l/100km, so with an 18l tank, its gonna be nice. Thats including 4.4l of reserve. Not bad for 1300cc ! For me, it handles better than the 750 imo, tho I wouldn't like to lay it down ! Ran like a dream, and I am now financially challenged because I wasn't going to enjoy the trip to Bright without it, so it was Buy-and-Suffer a diminished bank balance. Looking forward to you experienced riders giving me the tips on how to get the most out of it

must admit cray , its gonna be a haul on my vt750s, but my sports shield is working a a treat no buffeting on my body, as with the photo I sent you ive streamlined with the ventura rack system, no straps or panniers this time. as you know 5 hours on it a day is about all you want , and I look for a servo at 170k as well light doesn't come on until the 200k mark on mine, ive done 240k with light on filled up and it took 10.2 litres of fuel, as you know I would have been pushing the bike within a couple of ks, I would love a new cruiser my self but I got a brand new triton, before Christmas , so there goes any chances of a new bike for a while, well at least another 12 months. great bike cray, looking forward to catching up.
